Primary bovine fibroblasts from the umbilical cord.
Primary bovine fibroblasts are isolated from the umbilical cord tissue of healthy animals just after birth, when the placenta is shed and disposed of as biological waste.
DMEM and 10% FBS are used as culture medium. No antibiotics are needed. The fibroblasts are established at passage 3 and can be grown further for at least another 10 passages. Earlier passages may be available on request as well.
Each vial contains 1 million cells at p3.
